Holly Kendall, RMT

Holly was born and raised in the small village of Burritts Rapids just outside of Smiths Falls. Throughout her life, playing sports was a major passion. Whether it comes to playing hockey or volleyball, running track and field, or even participating in outdoor activities such as hikes or yard games, she’s usually always moving.

Holly believes that her passion for the human body and massage therapy stemmed both from her personal injuries, as well as her curiosity for the body’s natural healing and different types of rehabilitation techniques.

From an Educational Standpoint

From an educational standpoint, Holly graduated from Algonquin College in June of 2016 with a two year intensive diploma in Massage Therapy. During those two years, she was given the opportunity to participate in various placement settings that included; Sports Therapy at the University of Ottawa, Post-Surgical Scar Rehabilitation Therapy at the Ottawa Hospital on Riverside, Chronic Pain Therapy at Algonquin College, Therapy for Developmentally Delayed Children at St Bernard Catholic Elementary School, and a Reflective Practice based on rehabilitation therapy and self-care at Algonquin College. She also participated in a weekly Clinical Placement at the College where she could enhance her massage skills with a few clients and with the help of an advisor. She also graduated from St Lawrence College in 2014 with a diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion. During that time she was able to work one on one training clients in a local gym, and was able to shadow an athletic therapist for five weeks.

Holly believes that therapeutic touch is important in order to promote healing, wellness and overall health all while improving functional movements and range of motion for every patient. She enjoys watching her patients excel physically, mentally and emotionally after every treatment, and strives to achieve all patient goals and meet their needs every treatment.
